The 2024 NRL season will run over the course of 27 rounds and four weeks of finals, with this year’s grand final played on Sunday, October 6. Channel Nine present Thursday night, second Friday night and Sunday afternoon games on free-to-air TV. Fox Sports will cover every game, simulcasting the three already mentioned with Nine.

The 2026 NRL Grand Final brings together the Sydney Roosters and Newcastle Knights at Accor Stadium on Sunday, October 4. Newcastle reached their first Grand Final since 2001 after a remarkable 22–14 win over Penrith, despite playing with 12 men for 44 minutes; the Roosters booked their place with a 36–20 win over the Dolphins.
The Knights have hit top form during the finals, winning three straight, while the Roosters have also produced big attacking performances, including a 46–10 win over Cronulla in the semi-finals. The Grand Final kicks off at 7:30pm AEDT, with live coverage in Australia on Nine and 9Now.
NRLW Grand Final will see the Sydney Roosters take on the Brisbane Broncos at Accor Stadium on Sunday, October 4 at 4:00pm AEDT. The Roosters remain unbeaten this season and reached the decider after beating Canberra 20–10, while Brisbane defeated the Gold Coast Titans 20–8 to earn another Grand Final appearance.
It is a rematch of last year’s NRLW Grand Final, when the Broncos defeated the Roosters. The match will be played before the men’s NRL Grand Final and is part of a huge double-header at Accor Stadium.
