In the 2026 Formula 1 season Australia is represented by Oscar Piastri (McLaren Mercedes). 

The season features  24 Grands Prix, commencing with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne from March 6-8 The calendar includes six Sprint weekends in China, Miami, Austin, Brazil, Belgium, and Qatar.

Fox Sports provides live coverage of all Formula 1 races throughout the season. Subscribers can access high-definition broadcasts, including practice sessions and qualifying.  

Network 10 offers free-to-air broadcasts of the opening Australian Grand Prix with all weekend sessions including the race.
