The 2026 AFL Grand Final will see the Fremantle Dockers take on the Brisbane Lions at the MCG on Saturday, September 26. Fremantle reached the decider after a dramatic comeback win over Sydney, while Brisbane held off Hawthorn to keep their bid for a third consecutive premiership alive.
Brisbane are the market favourites heading into the Grand Final, with current odds around $1.62–$1.65, compared with $2.30 for Fremantle. The Lions’ finals experience and two consecutive premierships are major factors, although Fremantle have already shown they can beat Brisbane this season.
The Dockers won the most recent meeting 103–78 at the Gabba in Round 12, a 25-point victory. Fremantle led by as much as 51 points before Brisbane mounted a late comeback, with Jye Amiss, Patrick Voss and Josh Treacy combining for 11 goals.
Grand Final will be shown live and free on Channel 7 and 7plus, with Kayo Sports also providing a live stream with Fox Footy commentary. The game starts at 2:30pm AEST at the MCG.

The AFL Finals are heating up, with four huge matches coming up next week. Fremantle take on Hawthorn at Optus Stadium on Thursday night, followed by Geelong vs Carlton at the MCG on Friday.
